Associate Manager - AI Transformation

JOB PURPOSE: To lead the planning, execution, and adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Generative AI, Intelligent Automation, and emerging technology initiatives across Dubai Chambers. The role will drive AI transformation projects, coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, manage technology partners, and ensure successful implementation of AI solutions that enhance operational efficiency, customer experience, and organizational innovation.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:AI Transformation Strategy & Implementation Lead the implementation of Dubai Chambers' AI transformation roadmap.Identify and prioritize AI use cases across business functions.Support the deployment of AI, Generative AI, and intelligent automation solutions.Ensure alignment between AI initiatives and organizational objectives.AI Project & Program Management Manage end-to-end AI and automation projects from concept through implementation.Develop project plans, timelines, governance frameworks, and performance metrics.Coordinate stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams to ensure successful delivery.Monitor project risks, dependencies, budgets, and implementation progress.AI Innovation & Emerging Technologies Monitor developments in AI, Generative AI, Agentic AI, automation, and emerging technologies.Evaluate innovative solutions and recommend adoption opportunities.Conduct pilot programs and proof-of-concept initiatives.Support business cases for AI investments and technology adoptionIntelligent Automation & Process OptimizationIdentify opportunities to automate and optimize business processes.Collaborate with departments to redesign workflows using AI and automation technologies.Measure and track efficiency improvements and business benefits.Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management Engage with business units to understand operational requirements and transformation opportunities.Promote AI awareness and adoption across the organization.Support change management activities associated with AI implementation.Deliver presentations, workshops, and awareness sessions to stakeholders. Vendor & Technology Management Manage relationships with AI technology providers, consultants, and implementation partners.Participate in solution evaluations, procurement activities, and vendor assessments.Monitor vendor performance and ensure delivery against agreed objectives.Governance & Responsible AI Support the development and implementation of AI governance frameworks.Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, data privacy, and ethical AI requirements.Promote responsible and secure use of AI technologies across Dubai Chambers.QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:Minimum QualificationBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Digital Transformation, or a related field.Preferred Qualification Master's Degree in Artificial Intelligence, Digital Transformation, Technology Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.Professional Certifications (Preferred)PMP or PRINCE2Agile / Scrum CertificationAI, Cloud, or Digital Transformation CertificationsMinimum Experience and Skills 6–8 years of experience in technology, digital transformation, project management, or innovation.Minimum 3–5 years leading AI, automation, digital transformation, or emerging technology initiatives.Experience managing cross-functional projects and external technology partners.Preferred ExperienceExperience implementing AI, Generative AI, Copilot, automation, or intelligent workflow solutions.Experience within government, semi-government, large enterprise, or digital transformation environments.Experience managing enterprise-wide technology adoption programs.
