Backend Developer

Job Description Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications, services, and system components. Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services to ensure seamless system connectivity. Design, implement, manage, and maintain relational databases in line with business and system requirements. Perform database administration activities, including backup, recovery, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. Write clean, efficient, secure, and maintainable code in accordance with development standards and best practices. Monitor system performance, identify technical issues, and resolve application and database-related problems. Ensure data integrity, application security, system stability, and reliability. Collaborate with frontend developers and cross-functional teams to deliver integrated software solutions. Maintain technical documentation and contribute to continuous system improvements. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred). Minimum 3 years of professional experience in backend development. Strong experience in database design, management, and maintenance. Good understanding of software architecture and API integration. Experience with version control systems, preferably Git. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Technical Skills Strong knowledge of at least one backend programming language and framework (e.g., Python/Django, PHP/Laravel, Node.js/Express, or .NET). Good knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server. Experience with SQL queries, database optimization, and performance tuning. Understanding of REST APIs and JSON. Knowledge of frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks is an advantage. Familiarity with Linux servers, deployment, and cloud environments is a plus.
