Backend Developer

Role OverviewThe Backend Developer is responsible for building and maintaining backend systems and APIs for our client's platform. You will collaborate with product managers, architects, and fellow engineers to develop backend solutions, design database schemas, improve development efficiency, and implement suitable technologies to meet product requirements.This opportunity is open to both experienced developers and junior candidates or fresh graduates who have a strong passion for software engineering and can successfully complete the coding challenge.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain backend systems and APIs using Node.js, ExpressJS, and modern web technologies.Design and implement PostgreSQL database schemas to support application requirements.Develop tools to improve engineering productivity and streamline development and testing processes.Evaluate and implement suitable technologies to meet product and business requirements.Work closely with product managers, architects, and other engineers to deliver reliable backend solutions.Maintain high standards of code quality, software craftsmanship, and engineering best practices.RequirementsBasic knowledge or experience in backend development, particularly ExpressJS, PostgreSQL, and modern web technologies.Strong passion for software engineering, problem-solving, and continuous learning.Commitment to code quality, craftsmanship, and delivering reliable software.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Good written and spoken English.Fresh graduates and junior candidates are welcome, provided they can successfully complete the coding challenge.
