The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee and other beverages, following café recipes and standards. Day-to-day tasks include welcoming guests, taking orders, handling payments, and maintaining a clean, organized work area and seating space. The Barista will support basic food preparation, restock supplies, and ensure equipment is properly cleaned and maintained. This role also involves providing friendly, attentive customer service and contributing to a warm, inclusive café environment.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to engage guests respectfully and create a welcoming café experience.Candidates should possess Barista skills, including coffee preparation, drink customization, and familiarity with espresso machines and brewing methods.Candidates should possess clear Communication skills for taking orders accurately, coordinating with team members, and explaining menu items.Candidates should possess Food Preparation skills to support the safe and efficient preparation of snacks and café items.Additional beneficial qualifications include basic cash-handling skills, attention to detail, reliability in shift-based work, and the ability to stand for extended periods.Prior experience in a café, restaurant, or hospitality environment is preferred.
