This includes supervising staff, ensuring excellent customer service, managing cash and sales reports, maintaining hygiene standards, and resolving customer or operational issues promptly. The Shift Manager ensures smooth functioning of the café while aligning with brand and business goals.Qualifications & Skills:· Hospitality Management (HM) students preferred.· Work experience: 2–5 years in café/retail F&B, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.· Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and guest service skills.Key Responsibility Areas KRAs:· Allocate roles and responsibilities to team members during shifts. Monitor staff performance and grooming standards. Provide guidance, resolve conflicts, and maintain team discipline.· Ensure customers receive quick, polite, and professional service. Handle escalated complaints efficiently. Monitor order accuracy and timely delivery.· Ensure daily operations run smoothly with no service disruptions. Manage cash handling, POS reports, and shift handover processes. Maintain proper staffing levels during peak hours.· Ensure café follows hygiene and food safety standards. Supervise daily cleaning and equipment maintenance. Enforce compliance with safety regulations and SOPs.· Support café sales by promoting daily specials and suggestions. Monitor sales targets and motivate staff to achieve them. Track shift-level revenue performance.
