Brokerage Platform Lead (Trading Systems)

DescriptionGSS Tech Group is hiring a Brokerage Platform Lead for one of our enterprise clients in the UAE capital markets sector.In this role you will own the client's trading and brokerage platform across its full lifecycle, from client onboarding through order execution to settlement. You will be the main technical owner for market connectivity to regional exchanges including DFM, ADX and Tadawul, and you will work closely with trading, risk, compliance and operations teams to keep the platform fast, stable, compliant and continuously improving.This is a high ownership position for someone who understands how an order moves front to back and has run a brokerage platform in a regulated environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and manage the full lifecycle of the brokerage platform, covering onboarding, order capture, execution, clearing and settlementWork with cross functional teams to ensure seamless integration with trading, risk and compliance systemsDrive enhancements in market connectivity, ensuring low latency and highly reliable links to regional exchangesLead platform upgrades, coordinate with vendors and ensure alignment with regulatory requirementsChampion Agile practices and contribute to backlog grooming, sprint planning and release managementMonitor system performance, troubleshoot production issues and ensure high availability and resilienceRequirementsMust HaveBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related fieldMinimum 7 years of experience working on trading or brokerage platformsProven exposure to Tradenet or a comparable brokerage platformStrong understanding of front to back brokerage system architectureExpertise in Order Management Systems (OMS) and the FIX protocolDeep knowledge of market connectivity with exchanges such as DFM, ADX and TadawulSolid grasp of institutional equities workflows, including algorithmic trading and both high touch and low touch order flowsProficiency in Oracle and PostgreSQL databasesExperience building and integrating RESTful servicesAgile delivery experience using JIRA, Git and CI/CD pipelinesStrong AdvantageFamiliarity with Kafka for real time data streaming and event driven architectureHands on development experience in Java and/or C++, with exposure to Node.js and ReactBenefitsOpportunity to own a business critical trading platform for a leading UAE financial institutionDirect exposure to GCC capital markets and regional exchange connectivityCompetitive compensation package
