Chief Financial Officer / FNANCE DIRECTOR

About the CompanyOur client is an established, regulated financial services firm operating across institutional trading, capital markets, investment advisory and alternative investment solutions, serving institutional investors, family offices and professional clients.Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer / Finance Director to lead the firm's financial strategy, governance and regulatory financial oversight. The successful candidate will work closely with senior management to support financial performance, operational efficiency and sustainable business growth within a regulated investment and trading environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and financial planning.Oversee financial reporting, management accounts, audits, taxation and internal financial controls.Ensure compliance with DFSA prudential requirements, including regulatory capital, liquidity and financial reporting obligations.Manage treasury operations, capital allocation and financial risk exposures.Provide financial oversight of institutional trading and investment activities, including revenue reporting, reconciliations and counterparty exposures.Deliver financial analysis and strategic recommendations to the CEO and Board to support commercial and operational decisions.Strengthen financial governance, processes and systems while supporting business expansion.Lead and develop the finance function, ensuring accuracy, accountability and regulatory compliance.RequirementsApproximately 10–15+ years of finance experience, including senior leadership within financial services.Strong background in investment banking, institutional brokerage, capital markets, trading or investment management.Experience with DIFC/DFSA regulatory requirements, particularly prudential reporting and capital adequacy, highly desirable.Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial controls, treasury and regulatory financial reporting.Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ICAEW, ICAS, CA(SA), CPA or CIMA).Commercially astute, strategic and hands-on, with strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.
