Role Description This is a full-time, on-site مهندس صيانه وتشغيل role based in Jeddah at Bright House RealEstate. The Maintenance and Operations Engineer will oversee the daily operation, inspection, and maintenance of building systems, including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and safety systems. The role includes scheduling and supervising preventive and corrective maintenance, coordinating with external vendors, and ensuring that all work complies with relevant standards and regulations. The engineer will diagnose technical issues, propose cost-effective solutions, and prepare basic reports on equipment performance, maintenance activities, and incidents. The role also requires close collaboration with property management teams to address tenant requests, support smooth building operations, and contribute to continuous improvement of facility reliability and efficiency.Qualifications Demonstrated knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing, with practical experience in maintenance and operations.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, equipment manuals, and maintenance documentation, and apply them to day-to-day work.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, including diagnosing faults, proposing solutions, and implementing repairs safely and efficiently.Familiarity with safety standards and regulations, and commitment to safe working practices, risk assessment, and proper use of tools and equipment.Experience coordinating with contractors and vendors, managing maintenance schedules, and tracking work orders or service requests.Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with property management, tenants, and technical staff in a professional manner.Ability to organize tasks, prioritize multiple maintenance requests, and work reliably under time constraints in an on-site environment.Relevant technical diploma or engineering degree in mechanical, electrical, or facilities engineering (or equivalent practical experience).Previous experience in real estate, facilities management, or building operations is an advantage.Basic computer skills for using maintenance software, email, and preparing simple technical reports; Arabic fluency required, English proficiency preferred.
