Commissioning Electrical Lead

Job Purpose:Responsible for the preparation of commissioning activities for all Electrical Systems across the project scope.Interface with company and EPSCC contractors’ teams to ensure safe, timely, and compliant commissioning of electrical systems.Supervise and coordinate the execution of the Commissioning activities with his team and contractor.Perform as Electrical Isolation Authority during Commissioning Execution for Electrical Network above 20kVSupport the Completion Coordinator in ICAPS population, punch list resolution, and system handover readiness.Promote integration with Construction, Pre-commissioning and Field Operations teams with a One Team spirit.

Job Responsibilities

Commissioning Preparation PhaseReview and validate Electrical commissioning procedures, check sheets, and test plans in alignment with OPERCOM™ methodology.Ensure ICAPS© database is correctly populated for Electrical systems and interfaces.Coordinate with vendors and contractor teams to plan FATs, electrical testing and system integration.Participate in risk assessments and ensure electrical requirements are embedded in commissioning plans.Support the definition of system boundaries and interface logic between Electrical components.Ensure readiness of temporary equipment, systems and tools required for Electrical commissioning.Coordinate early engagement with Field Operations to ensure alignment on Electrical commissioning activities and transfer of knowledge.Commissioning Execution PhaseSupervise Electrical commissioning activities on site, ensuring compliance with HSE standards, project specifications, and schedule.Coordinate with vendors and contractor teams for safe energization and functional testing of Electrical systems.As Electrical Isolation Authority prepares and implements on-site electrical isolations and de-isolations for COF (above 20kV)Make sure that all risk assessments of the electrical tasks are prepared and implemented on siteEnsure the safe and proper energization on site both from temporary and permanent power sources.Coordinates execution of Operational Tests with contractor ensuring Field Operations and Maintenance teams involvement.Monitor progress, manage punch list clearance, and ensure documentation is updated in ICAPS.Support the Completion Coordinator in achieving RFC, AOC/RFSU, and TOM milestones for Electrical -related systems.Participate in daily coordination meetings and ensure alignment with commissioning teams.Capture and share lessons learned to support continuous improvement.Qualifications and Experience:Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering10+ years in Oil & Gas projects as Commissioning Electrical SpecialistExperience with major Electrical vendors (Schneider, ABB, Siemens)Familiarity with OPERCOM™ and ICAPS© is highly appreciatedExperience being Commissioning Electrical Authority is a plusCertified to fully deal with both HV and LV Electrical NetworksFluency in English is mandatory
