We're Hiring | Consultant Critical Care📍 Location: Dubai💼 Employment Type: Full-TimeA leading healthcare facility in Dubai is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Critical Care Medicine Physician to join its Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing critically ill patients, providing advanced life-support interventions, and ensuring high-quality, evidence-based intensive care.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and manage critically ill patients with complex, life-threatening medical and surgical conditionsProvide advanced intensive care management, including mechanical ventilation and hemodynamic supportPerform critical care procedures, including endotracheal intubation, central venous catheterization, and arterial line insertionDevelop individualized treatment plans for patients with sepsis, shock, respiratory failure, and multiorgan dysfunctionMonitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies based on clinical assessmentsLead multidisciplinary ICU rounds and coordinate care with specialists, nurses, and respiratory therapistsManage medical emergencies, resuscitation, and advanced life-support interventionsCommunicate effectively with patients' families regarding treatment plans, prognosis, and clinical progressEnsure compliance with DHA regulations, hospital protocols, infection control policies, and patient safety standardsMaintain accurate clinical documentation, ICU records, and treatment reportsParticipate in clinical audits, ICU quality improvement initiatives, and training of junior medical staffRequirementsQualifications & RequirementsMBBS or equivalent recognized medical qualificationRecognized postgraduate qualification in Critical Care Medicine / Intensive Care Medicine or an accepted specialty qualification with appropriate critical care subspecialty trainingFellowship, board certification, or equivalent recognized advanced training in Critical Care MedicineValid DHA License or Eligibility Letter preferredRelevant post-specialization clinical experience meeting UAE PQR requirements for Consultant classificationStrong expertise in mechanical ventilation, advanced hemodynamic monitoring, organ support, and emergency critical careExcellent clinical decision-making, leadership, communication, and multidisciplinary teamwork skillsBenefitsCompetitive salary and attractive benefits packageOpportunity to work in a leading healthcare facility in DubaiModern ICU infrastructure and advanced critical care technologySupportive multidisciplinary working environmentOpportunities for professional growth and career advancementImportant Note for ApplicantsIf you have already submitted your CV to Astra Promed FZC , please do not reapply for the same or other advertised positions.
