Cost Control Manager

Role Description The Cost Control Manager role at الأمباط القابضة | Ambatt is a full-time, on-site position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Cost Control Manager is responsible for overseeing project and operational costs, monitoring budget performance, and ensuring alignment with financial targets. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing cost reports, tracking expenditures against budgets, analyzing variances, and recommending corrective actions. The role involves collaborating with project managers, finance teams, and procurement to validate cost data, optimize resource allocation, and maintain accurate cost records. The Cost Control Manager also supports forecasting, participates in cost review meetings, and contributes to the development and improvement of cost control procedures and systems.Qualifications Strong cost control and cost management skills, with experience in establishing and maintaining cost control frameworks.Proficiency in cost reporting and project control, including preparing detailed cost summaries and supporting project budgeting and scheduling.Excellent analytical skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and provide data-driven recommendations.Experience with ERP systems or cost management software, and solid skills in Excel and financial modeling.Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field; professional certifications in cost control or project management are an advantage.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and present findings clearly to stakeholders.Relevant experience in construction, engineering, manufacturing, or similar project-based environments is preferred.
