Creative Manager - Event

About The RoleOur client, a creative events company, is looking for an experienced Creative Manager to support the delivery of high-end, large-scale and boutique events in the UAE. The role is based in Dubai and works closely with the client's international creative and design team. It starts on a freelance basis, with the potential to become a permanent position.You will:Turn creative concepts into practical, buildable event environmentsManage local suppliers, fabricators and production partners in DubaiMake sure the design vision is delivered accurately on the groundYou will be the local link between the creative team and the people building the event. The team sets the creative direction. You will make it work in the UAE by checking what is feasible, sourcing materials and suppliers, and overseeing the build.This is a hands-on role. You will produce drawings, visit sites, review finishes and solve problems on site during build and installation, as well as coordinate the wider delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesCreative and Technical DesignWork with the international creative and design team to develop and implement event concepts in the UAEProduce and review technical drawings, layouts and design concepts using SketchUp, AutoCAD and PhotoshopSupport the creative team with local knowledge, material sourcing and technical feasibilitySite and Supplier ManagementAttend venue and site visits to take measurements, assess spaces and identify technical or logistical considerationsSource, brief and coordinate local suppliers, fabricators and production partnersBuild and maintain a strong network of reliable UAE-based suppliers and creative partnersProduction and Quality ControlReview supplier proposals, materials, finishes and fabrication details against the required creative standardsWork with production teams to make sure the design is delivered accurately and to specificationTroubleshoot design and production challenges on site and provide practical solutionsEvent DeliverySupport the team through the build, installation and execution phases of each eventMaintain a consistently high level of quality and attention to detail across all creative elementsRequirementsProven experience in event design, creative production, experiential events, exhibition design or a related fieldStrong proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD and PhotoshopExperience on both large-scale and boutique or high-end eventsStrong understanding of event production, fabrication, materials and technical executionAn established network of UAE-based suppliers, fabricators and production partnersComfortable doing site visits and working hands-on during event preparation and buildStrong communication and project coordination skillsWorking ConditionsFreelance to start: The role starts on a freelance basis, with the potential for a permanent placementBased in Dubai: Site visits, supplier meetings and on-site build support across the UAE
