[Da Nang] Finance Manager

About the job:Location: Da Nang (On-site)We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented finance professional ready to take ownership of our financial operations as Finance Manager at our fast-growing IT company. In this role, you will lead corporate FP&A, treasury, transfer pricing, tax and regulatory compliance, guiding and reviewing the accounting function rather than handling day-to-day entries. You will report to the COO with a dotted line to the CEO, communicating regularly with the CEO on financial performance, risks, and priorities. We are looking for someone with a CFO mindset: someone who sees the business behind the numbers, proactively proposes solutions, and acts as a trusted partner to the CxO.RESPONSIBILITIES:Financial Planning & Analysis: Annual budgeting & rolling forecasts, variance analysis, profitability analysis by project, client, and contract type (fixed-price, ODC), pricing & cost recommendationsBusiness Partnering: Advise the CxO on the financial impact of expansion, new markets, major contracts, and investment deals; build dashboards, financial KPIs, and financial modelsTreasury & Cash Management: Working capital & cash flow forecasting, funding strategy, FX exposure management (JPY, USD, VND), capex evaluation (ROI, payback, NPV), payment approval with Maker/Approver segregationAccounting, Reporting & Internal Control (leadership & review): Review and sign off statutory financial statements (VAS) and management reports to the parent company, approve the Accounting Manual & SOPs, assess internal controls, main contact for the external auditTransfer Pricing: Own the transfer pricing policy and intercompany agreements with the parent company, monitor margins during the year and propose timely adjustments, provide data to and review the annual TP documentation prepared by the external advisor, ensure accurate related-party disclosures in the CIT return, lead explanations to tax authorities during inspectionsTax Compliance & Planning: Review CIT, VAT, PIT and FCT compliance, apply the Vietnam–Japan Double Taxation Agreement, maintain software-enterprise tax incentives, compliant tax planningRegulatory Authority Relations & Inspection Defense: Main liaison with tax authorities, lead tax inspections and audits, monitor changes in tax laws and VAS/IFRS, and assess their financial impactTeam Leadership & Continuous Improvement: Lead and develop the Finance & Accounting team, train the team on new regulations, drive automation and process improvements, align data and processes with Sales, HR and Project ManagementREQUIREMENTS:Education & Technical knowledge:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Auditing or a related fieldSolid knowledge of VAS/IFRS, Vietnamese tax laws (CIT, VAT, PIT, FCT), and transfer pricing regulationsExperience:10+ years of experience in finance & accounting, including a management role Hands-on experience handling tax inspections and auditsExperience in a foreign-invested company (Japanese IT/software company experience is a strong plus)Skills & Competencies:Good at spoken and written English: able to communicate directly and regularly with the CEO, the Board of DirectorCFO mindset: sees the business impact behind the numbers, with sound judgment on financial riskStrong skills in budgeting, financial modeling, variance analysis, and cash flow forecasting; experience with ERP/accounting softwareOpen-minded and proactive; takes ownership and proposes ideas, improvements and solutions to emerging issuesExcellent communication and teamwork skills; presents figures clearly to the Board and non-finance colleaguesHigh integrity and attention to detail; able to lead and develop a teamNice to have: CPA, ACCA or Chief Accountant certificate; Japanese language skillsBENEFITS:Attractive compensation package with annual salary reviewYear-end bonus, Leader/Manager bonus, referral & birthday bonus100% salary & paid leave during the 2-month probation12+ days off accumulated/year; Nearly Zero OTLoyalty program (additional annual leave, seniority gift)Annual health check & Bao Viet premium health careTraining incentive & career development programsBusiness English class & internal workshopsDevSecOps & English-speaking environmentFully equipped office with relax area, nursing roomWell-being promotion programs for female staff and new parentsDaily exercise & sports activities (football, cycling, badminton, ping pong…)Team-building allowance, weekly Happy time, CSR eventsAnnual company trip, year-end partyABOUT COMPANY:Founded in 2016, CodeComplete is a rapidly growing company that provides end-to-end software solutions throughout the worldwide markets of Japan, NZ, AU, the UK, and the US.
