Director of Compliance

We are seeking a seasoned Director of Compliance to lead the regulatory compliance function of a leading financial services organization in Saudi Arabia, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, strengthening compliance governance, and supporting IPO readiness and ongoing listing obligations.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and oversee a comprehensive risk-based compliance framework, including regulatory monitoring, testing, reporting, and remediation.Ensure compliance with Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) regulations and relevant Capital Market Authority (CMA) requirements.Oversee AML/CFT, financial crime prevention, customer protection, responsible financing, and regulatory risk management.Manage regulatory relationships, supervisory examinations, compliance investigations, and corrective action plans.Lead IPO readiness, corporate governance, regulatory disclosures, insider information controls, and post-listing compliance.Provide independent compliance reporting to the Audit Committee and Board of Directors.Lead and develop the compliance team while promoting a strong compliance culture.

Requirements

10+ years of experience in banking, finance companies, or regulated financial institutions, including 7+ years in compliance and 5+ years in leadership.Strong knowledge of SAMA regulations, CMA requirements, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance frameworks.Proven experience managing regulatory examinations, AML/CFT controls, and customer protection requirements.Experience in IPO readiness, listed-company compliance, or capital market regulations is highly desirable.Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.Professional compliance certification (CCO, ICA, or equivalent) and AML/CFT certification (CAMS, ICA AML, or equivalent) required.Strong executive reporting, stakeholder management, and regulatory engagement capabilities.Eligibility to obtain SAMA no-objection for appointment.Interested candidates are encouraged to apply or share their profiles for confidential consideration.#Hiring #DirectorOfCompliance #Compliance #RegulatoryCompliance #SAMA #CMA #AML #IPO #FinancialServices #SaudiArabia #ExecutiveSearch
