After more than 25 years at the forefront of the industry, the property will undergo a carefully considered restoration led by renowned designer Tristan Auer, bringing a refined contemporary vision while preserving the legacy, craftsmanship, and spirit of this extraordinary landmark.About the JobAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Director – Wellness role to join Jumeirah Burj Al Arab.The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:Define and execute an integrated, six-pillar wellness strategy (Spa, Gym, Tech, Medicine, Suites, Partnerships) while leading the pre-opening, talent acquisition, and operational readiness for the ultra-luxury Talise launch at Burj Al Arab.Design holistic, personalized wellness pathways and family/junior wellbeing experiences that map guest preferences and goals across all stay touchpoints (pre-, during, and post-stay).Lead the wellness workforce through structured accountability and capability building while partnering seamlessly across hotel departments (Rooms, F&B, Culinary, Guest Relations, Concierge, Retail, Marketing) to ensure cohesive execution.Propel business success by meeting key financial and operational KPIs, including revenue growth, profitability, capture rates, retail performance, guest satisfaction, and overall team productivity.Cultivate high-flexibility, clinically credible relationships with medical advisers and specialist practitioners while leveraging technology as a tool for assessment, personalization, and recovery tracking.About YouThe ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:Minimum 10 years’ progressive leadership experience in luxury hospitality, spa or wellness, including responsibility for a high-end, multi-faceted and commercially accountable wellness operation.Proven experience creating integrated wellness strategies, signature programmes and personalised guest pathways across multiple hotel touchpoints.Experience leading multicultural teams of therapists, fitness professionals, wellness specialists, reception colleagues and operational leaders.Strong track record of using guest insight, technology and measurable outcomes to enhance personalization, engagement and service quality.Demonstrated success in growing revenue, retail and cross-spend while maintaining exceptional care, hygiene, safety and clinical governance standards.Experience building specialist external partnerships and introducing innovative family, restorative or preventative wellness propositions is desirable.About the BenefitsAt Jumeirah, we are dedicated to fostering a workplace where colleagues feel valued, supported, and inspired to grow.
