Electrical Engineer

For our own projects, we are recruiting for 3 positions for an oil and gas project, with deployment at our Abu Dhabi, UAE office.We are looking for experienced professionals with a strong EPC background in Offshore Fixed Facilities.Start date: December 2026Work Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE (Office-Based)1. ELECTRICAL DESIGNER / DRAUGHTSMAN (2 Vacancies)Contract Duration: 9 months (extendable)Requirements:Experience in preparing Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) & schematics, Material Take-Offs (MTOs), electrical layouts, installation details, panel schedules, and interconnection drawings.Strong experience in developing 3D models of electrical equipment, cable trays, lighting, etc., including populating libraries and attributes according to client requirements.Strong experience in preparing weight control reports for electrical components, including bulk materials.Experience participating in client 3D model reviews and the ability to manage work independently will be an added advantage.Experience performing lighting calculations will be an added advantage.Software: AutoCAD, MicroStation, E3D, SP3D/S3D, Navisworks.Offshore fixed facilities experience with an EPC background is mandatory.2. ELECTRICAL ENGINEER (1 Vacancy)Contract Duration: 1 year (extendable)Requirements:11–15 years of electrical engineering experience in Offshore Fixed Facilities with an EPC background.Experience in preparing/checking Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) & schematics, equipment sizing calculations, Material Take-Offs (MTOs), electrical layouts, Material Requisitions (MRs), Technical Bid Evaluations (TBEs), and reviewing vendor drawings.Experience reviewing interdisciplinary engineering documents and vendor drawings.Experience with ETAP and preparation of power system reports will be an added advantage.Knowledge of 3D models and ability to manage and coordinate work with designers/draughtsmen.Experience with SPEL and preparation of reports will be an added advantage.Software: MS Office, ETAP, SPEL, DIALux or equivalent, AutoCAD, Navisworks.Candidates with relevant offshore fixed facilities engineering/design experience are highly encouraged to apply.
