Energy Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination and delivery (ESCO, Solar, Digitization, BMS Upgrades and Sub-metering Project Management)Responsible for managing energy management, energy efficiency, and sustainability projects across the portfolio. This includes ESCO, solar, consultancy, energy management, sub-metering and waste management initiatives.Support the delivery of Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs), retrofits, utility optimization projects, renewable energy initiatives, decarbonization programs, and implementation of the waste management roadmap.Monitor project schedules, milestones, budgets, technical requirements, energy-savings commitments, risks, dependencies, and actions, maintaining the associated trackers and progress reports to support timely project delivery.Coordinate ESCO and related projects from site surveys and technical assessments through implementation, commissioning, handover, and Measurement and Verification (M&V).Attend weekly progress meetings with contractors and other service providers, and document key actions, risks, decisions, and responsibilities.Review project documentation and coordinate the submission, review, approval, and close-out of required deliverables.Participate in site assessments and technical walkthroughs with ESCO representatives, consultants, solar companies, contractors, and relevant stakeholders.Ensure that all required technical, utility, operational, and asset data is collected, checked, and validated.Analyze on-site operations and develop plans for energy optimization and performance improvements aligned with the organization’s decarbonization plan.Coordinate data-logging activities, metering surveys, equipment inspections, and engineering assessments.Facilitate discussions concerning site operations, as-built drawings, equipment replacement requirements, retrofit opportunities, and operational constraints.Consolidate, update, and maintain asset documentation and registers, including as-built drawings, equipment technical data, and utility meter information.Coordinate with Facility Managers and Operations Teams to support project planning, implementation, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.Arrange data collection, site access permits, work permits, shutdown approvals, and contractor mobilization requirements.Coordinate with FM Operations for project delivery, handover, acceptance, and sign-off.Arrange and coordinate technical review meetings with energy team, stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and service providers.Prepare meeting minutes, action trackers, project dashboards, progress updates, and management reports.Present project progress, implementation status, key risks, and mitigation actions to the Energy Management Team.Functional verification of the implemented energy initiatives operates efficiently and achieves the intended performance levels and savings outcomes.Functional verification of the implemented solar energy system (production verifications, Meters reading data consolidations, PPM and maintenance coordination’s).Other Requirements:Experience : 5-7 Years along with ESCO / Energy management Co/ConsultantsQualification : B. Tech ( Mechanical/ Electrical / Energy ) with certification in CEM/CEA/ CMVP
