You will collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and project teams to resolve technical challenges and support equipment development and improvement initiatives. Additional duties may include evaluating mechanical components, investigating equipment failures, supporting installation and commissioning activities, and preparing technical reports. You will also help identify opportunities to improve system efficiency, reduce maintenance requirements, and ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards and safety procedures.As a Production Engineer, you will focus on improving manufacturing processes, coordinating production activities, and ensuring that operations meet established quality, efficiency, and output targets. Responsibilities include monitoring production performance, analyzing workflow processes, identifying operational bottlenecks, and implementing practical process improvements. You will collaborate with production supervisors, quality teams, maintenance personnel, and supply chain specialists to maintain smooth manufacturing operations. Additional duties may include reviewing production schedules, evaluating equipment utilization, investigating manufacturing defects, monitoring material consumption, and preparing performance reports. You will also contribute to waste reduction, process standardization, workplace safety, and the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.Both positions require accurate technical documentation, effective communication, and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. Successful candidates will contribute to reliable equipment performance, efficient manufacturing operations, improved product quality, and effective resource utilization while supporting organizational objectives and maintaining professional engineering standards.QualificationsA degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related technical discipline.Strong understanding of engineering principles, mechanical systems, manufacturing processes, and technical specifications.Familiarity with engineering drawings, CAD software, mechanical calculations, and equipment evaluation.Knowledge of machinery maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and mechanical system performance.Understanding of production planning, workflow optimization, quality control, and manufacturing efficiency.Familiarity with lean manufacturing, root cause analysis, or continuous improvement methodologies is an advantage.Knowledge of production monitoring, process documentation, and key performance indicators.Familiarity with ERP systems, manufacturing software, or production planning tools is beneficial.Understanding of workplace safety, quality assurance, and applicable engineering standards.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and technical reporting tools.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.Effective communication skills, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous learning and operational excellence.
