Senior BIM Coordinator (Site)

We are working with a leading international multidisciplinary consultancy looking to appoint an experienced Senior BIM Coordinator – Architecture to support the construction delivery of a major, technically complex project in Dubai.This is a site delivery-focused position, not a design role, requiring someone with strong architectural BIM coordination experience, ideally gained on large-scale projects with established international consultancies.The successful candidate will work closely with site teams, engineering disciplines, contractors and consultants to ensure BIM models are properly coordinated, technically accurate and aligned with construction requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesLead architectural BIM coordination throughout the construction and delivery stages.Coordinate architectural models with structural, MEP and other specialist disciplines.Identify and resolve complex clashes, spatial coordination issues and constructability challenges.Manage federated models and multidisciplinary coordination processes.Work closely with site teams to resolve discrepancies between BIM models, construction drawings and actual site conditions.Review contractors' BIM submissions, shop drawings and coordinated models to ensure compliance with project requirements.Attend technical coordination meetings with contractors, consultants and project stakeholders.Support the resolution of RFIs, design coordination issues and construction-stage technical queries.Maintain BIM quality standards and ensure compliance with project BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and information management requirements.Requirements12+ years of experience within architecture, BIM coordination or architectural project delivery.Strong background in architectural BIM coordination on major, technically complex construction projects.Previous experience with a large international architectural or multidisciplinary engineering consultancy.Proven experience working through the construction and site delivery stages, rather than solely design development.Advanced knowledge of Revit, Navisworks and multidisciplinary clash detection and coordination processes.Strong understanding of architectural detailing, construction methodologies, buildability and technical interfaces.Experience coordinating with structural, MEP and specialist engineering teams.Exposure to major aviation, infrastructure, high-rise, mixed-use or other technically demanding developments would be advantageous.Middle East project experience is preferred.Salary could go to 35,000 AED for exceptional candidates. This position is particularly suited to an experienced architectural BIM professional who understands how complex buildings are constructed and can manage coordination challenges on live projects, rather than someone whose experience is predominantly design or BIM modelling.
