Environmental Laboratory Manager

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Environmental Laboratory Manager / Senior Chemist to lead our analytical testing operations. The ideal candidate will oversee daily laboratory testing, maintain quality assurance standards, manage technical staff, and ensure compliance with environmental regulations and ISO standards.ResponsibilitiesTo direct and manage all operations of the environmental analytical laboratory, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant testing of environmental samples (water, soil and air) while maintaining rigorous quality control systems and regulatory accreditationQualificationsSupervise daily testing activities, workflow scheduling, and sample turnaround times for chemical and physical analyses of water, wastewater, soil, and air samples.Perform, validate, and sign off on complex chemical analyses using advanced instruments. Maintain and update the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and ensure strict adherence to ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation standards, QA/QC protocols, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).Lead, train, and mentor laboratory chemists and technicians, enforce strict laboratory safety protocols and hazardous waste disposal procedures.Manage and lead contracts and business development.
