Employment Type: Permanent, Full-timeJob OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Equation Core Banking Developer with hands-on expertise in Finastra Equation Core Banking System (CBS).

The ideal candidate should have strong development knowledge in COBOL, RPG and CLP, along with a good understanding of core banking operations and banking processes.The role involves developing, customizing, maintaining and troubleshooting Equation CBS applications, APIs and integrations to support business requirements and enhance banking system functionality.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, customize and maintain applications within the Finastra Equation Core Banking System.Modify, enhance and troubleshoot existing Equation CBS applications and APIs.Analyse banking business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Develop customizations, integrations and system enhancements.Perform unit testing, debugging and technical validation.Support system upgrades, patch management and application maintenance.Investigate and resolve production issues and technical defects.Maintain technical documentation, development records and change management documentation.Collaborate with business analysts, technical teams and banking stakeholders.Required Skills & ExperienceStrong hands-on experience in Finastra Equation Core Banking System.Proven experience in Equation CBS development and customization.Strong programming knowledge in COBOL.Working experience with RPG and CLP.Good understanding of core banking systems and banking operations.Experience in API development, integration and troubleshooting.Knowledge of system testing, debugging and application maintenance.Ability to analyse technical requirements and provide effective solutions.Good to HaveExperience in Equation CBS implementation or integration projects.Knowledge of Finastra architecture, modules and development tools.Experience with banking system interfaces and integrations.Understanding of banking IT security and compliance requirements.Interested candidates with relevant Finastra Equation CBS development experience are encouraged to apply.
