WE ARE HIRING | FACADE DESIGNER – GLASS & ALUMINIUMNEXA Engineering Consulting is seeking an experienced Facade Designer – Glass & Aluminium to join our growing team in Dubai.📍 Location: Dubai, UAE🏢 Employment Type: Full-time💼 Experience: 5–10 years in facade design, with a minimum of 3 years of UAE/GCC experience preferred🚀 Joining: Immediate or within 30 days preferredRole OverviewThe ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and coordinating detailed, technically compliant facade shop drawings and design packages for high-rise and super high-rise residential buildings, ensuring alignment with project specifications, applicable codes, and approved design requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed facade shop drawings, sections, elevations, and construction details for glass and aluminium facade systems.Work on curtain wall, cladding, aluminium windows, and structural glazing systems for high-rise and super high-rise residential projects.Develop facade details from tender and design development stages through construction and as-built documentation.Coordinate with architectural, structural, and MEP teams to resolve design clashes and technical issues.Review facade systems, materials, specifications, and technical submissions for compliance with project requirements.Coordinate with facade contractors, suppliers, and project teams to ensure design accuracy and buildability.Ensure compliance with applicable UAE building codes, authority requirements, and relevant international standards.Qualifications & Technical SkillsBachelor's degree or diploma in Civil, Mechanical, or Architectural Engineering, or Architectural Technology.Proven experience in facade design and detailing for high-rise and super high-rise residential buildings in the UAE/GCC.Strong knowledge of curtain wall systems, aluminium cladding, windows, and structural glazing.Familiarity with aluminium extrusion systems, thermal breaks, glass specifications, brackets, anchors, sealants, and fire-stopping details.Understanding of wind loads, thermal and acoustic performance, and facade testing requirements.Knowledge of the Dubai Building Code, relevant UAE authority requirements, and international standards such as ASTM, EN, AAMA, and CWCT.Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Revit and other relevant facade design software is an advantage.📩 Interested candidates are invited to apply via LinkedInPlease ensure your application highlights your relevant experience in high-rise and super high-rise residential facade projects.
