Designed for data-driven organizations, Cruq AI helps businesses accelerate processes, improve accuracy, and maintain a competitive edge through intelligent automation.Role Description The Forward Deployed Engineer – Voice AI for Lending is a full-time hybrid role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with flexibility for partial work from home. In this role, the engineer works closely with lending and financial services clients to design, implement, and deploy Voice AI solutions on the Cruq AI platform. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with product and client teams to understand lending workflows, building and integrating back-end services and APIs, and configuring AI agents to handle voice-based interactions such as loan applications, eligibility checks, and customer support. The engineer will adapt and optimize existing Voice AI components, ensure secure and compliant handling of financial data, and monitor performance in production environments. The role also involves troubleshooting technical issues, iterating on solutions based on user feedback, and contributing to best practices and reusable modules for future deployments.QualificationsStrong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.Experience in Software Development and Programming, with proficiency in at least one modern language (e.g., Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript/TypeScript).Hands-on Back-End Web Development skills, including building RESTful APIs, integrating services, and working with databases.Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and ability to apply OOP concepts to design scalable, maintainable systems.Experience deploying and maintaining applications in cloud or containerized environments (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes) is highly beneficial.Familiarity with AI/ML or conversational/Voice AI systems, especially in financial services or lending workflows, is a strong plus.Comfort working directly with clients, gathering requirements, and translating business needs into technical solutions.Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering,
