Role SummaryWe are hiring a Full Stack Engineer to build and run data-driven web applications end to end: Java/Spring Boot services, React/TypeScript front ends, MongoDB and MySQL data stores, and the web scraping pipelines that feed them. You will own features from data acquisition through API to UI.Experience: 3 years

Location: BangaloreEmployment type: Full-timeReports to: Technical LeadCore stack: Java, Spring Boot, React, TypeScript, MongoDB, MySQL, Web ScrapingKey ResponsibilitiesDesign, build and maintain RESTful services and microservices in Java and Spring Boot.Build responsive, reusable UI components and pages in React with TypeScript.Design data models and write efficient queries for MongoDB (documents, indexes, aggregation pipelines) and MySQL (schemas, joins, query tuning).Build and maintain web scraping and crawling pipelines that collect, clean, normalise and store data from websites and APIs at scale.Handle scraping challenges: dynamic JavaScript pages, pagination, rate limits, retries, proxies, and changes to site structure.Integrate scraped and third-party data into backend services and expose it through APIs and the UI.Write unit and integration tests; take part in code reviews and keep code quality high.Monitor, debug and improve the performance and reliability of applications in production.Work with product, QA and data teams to turn requirements into shipped features.Follow responsible scraping practice: respect robots.txt, site terms and data-privacy rules.Required SkillsJava: Strong core Java (Java 11+) – OOP, collections, streams, concurrency, exception handling.Spring Boot: REST APIs, Spring Data (JPA and MongoDB), Spring Security, dependency injection, scheduled jobs.React: Hooks, component design, state management (Redux, Zustand or Context), routing, form handling.TypeScript: Typed components and API clients, interfaces and generics, strict mode.MongoDB: Document schema design, indexing, aggregation framework, performance tuning.MySQL: Relational modelling, complex SQL, joins, indexes, transactions, query optimisation.Web Scraping: Hands-on with Jsoup, Selenium, Playwright or Puppeteer; HTML/DOM parsing, XPath and CSS selectors; handling dynamic pages, proxies, throttling and anti-bot measures.General: Git, REST/JSON, HTML and CSS, debugging, clean and testable code (JUnit, Jest).Good to HavePython scraping tools (Scrapy, BeautifulSoup) alongside Java-based scraping.Message queues and schedulers for crawl jobs (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Quartz).Elasticsearch or OpenSearch for search over collected data.Docker, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and cloud deployment, preferably AWS.Next.js or server-side rendering experience.Exposure to NLP, LLM-based extraction or data quality checks on unstructured content.QualificationsB.E./B.Tech/MCA in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.3–6 years of professional full-stack development with Java and React.At least one production web scraping or data-collection project you can walk us through.Clear written and verbal communication; comfortable owning a feature end to end.
