Senior Software Engineer – Python + Java Full Stack

Hi,Greetings for the day !!!About the Role We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong Python expertise, working knowledge of Java, and full stack exposure to build and support complex, enterprise-scale applications. You will work independently, own technical tasks and projects, and collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to deliver production-quality software.Experience: 6 to 10 years Location: Mumbai - Nesco IT Park, Goregaon, Hybrid WFO - 2/3 days WFO a week Working hours: 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM IST (flexible, with at least 4 hours of overlap with US EST hours)Roles and ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and maintain backend applications and services using Python.Build scalable REST APIs using FastAPI, Flask, or Django.Understand, debug, modify, and enhance existing Java applications, including Spring Boot services.Develop UI components using React, Angular, or an equivalent modern framework.Apply clean coding practices, sound application design, and effective error handling.Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize performance in production applications.Take accountability for delivery, driving tasks and projects from requirement to release.Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, testing, and release cycles.Communicate clearly with business stakeholders and distributed teams.Required Skills6+ years of software engineering experience, preferably on complex, enterprise-scale applications.Strong hands-on Python development as the primary backend skill.Experience building backend services with Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, Django, or equivalent.Good understanding of REST APIs, object-oriented programming, error handling, testing, debugging, and performance optimization.Working knowledge of Java as a secondary backend skill, with the ability to understand, debug, modify, and enhance Java applications.Experience with Java/Spring Boot or equivalent Java frameworks is preferred.Full-stack exposure with React, Angular, or an equivalent modern UI framework as a secondary skill.Strong grasp of software engineering principles, clean coding practices, application design, and production troubleshooting.Ability to work independently, handle ambiguity, drive technical tasks and projects, and own delivery outcomes.Strong verbal and written communication skills for engaging with technical teams and business stakeholders.Experience in Agile environments, including development, code reviews, testing, releases, and production-quality delivery.
