Accelerated Career Growth!Job DetailsThe RoleThe General Manager will lead day-to-day operations of the company’s largest and most visible site, a location critical to overall business performance. This leader will own the P&L, grow the business through new account acquisition, and build a high-performing team.ResponsibilitiesProvide operational leadership for a high-visibility site that is critical to company performanceDrive enterprise-level business development, with a focus on winning new accountsOwn full P&L responsibility and use strong financial judgment to guide business decisionsConduct risk analysis to support operational and strategic initiativesRecruit, onboard, train, coach, and evaluate staffBuild a positive, collaborative culture within the team and across partner teamsLead by example on core values: safety, accountability, excellence, and service to customersMake sure processes, procedures, and standards are consistently followedDevelop and continuously improve operational policies and proceduresPartner with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless operations and high customer satisfactionEnsure compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, and industry standardsLead safety program participation, training completion, policy enforcement, and incident investigationsStep in on complex or sensitive matters involving customers, contracts, HR, or safetyManage budgets and allocate resources effectivelyTrack performance metrics, find areas for improvement, and implement new technology and process enhancementsReport regularly to senior leadership on progress against strategic goalsQualificationsAt least 5 years in senior or operations management with direct P&L responsibilityFull P&L ownership, with a proven record of improving EBITDA, building operating plans, budgets, and forecasts, and growing revenue while expanding marginsLeadership experience in electrical testing, commissioning, field services, power systems, industrial services, engineering services, maintenance, repair, or a similar technical service organizationTechnical and field services background requiredAbility to manage multiple competing priorities and deadlinesStrong communication skills at every level, from labor and trades to technical, professional, and executive leadershipProfessional presence and a strong commitment to customer serviceData-driven decision makingKnowledge of relevant regulations, compliance requirements, and industry standardsExperience implementing new technologies and operational processesBachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferredPreferredMBAInterested in hearing more?
