About CarboSolCarboSol is a Riyadh based carbon project developer and advisory firm. We take carbon projects from screening to issued credits under Verra, Gold Standard, Puro.earth and CORSIA, and we work with some of the Kingdom's largest industrial, government and infrastructure clients across Saudi Arabia and the GCC.The opportunityWe are looking for a General Manager to run and grow the business. You will own the P&L, lead a multidisciplinary team, convert a strong pipeline into signed and delivered work, and grow CarboSol into a leading carbon project developer in Saudi Arabia. You report to the Founding Partners and have a clear mandate to shape the operating model, not inherit one.What you will leadBusiness growth: large accounts across mining, utilities, aviation, real estate, waste and governmentProfitability: pricing, commercial terms, margins, cash flow and the annual planOperations: pipeline, delivery and risk reviews; quality control on all client and registry submissionsTeam: recruit, develop and retain a high performing team of consultants and specialistsRelationships: clients, RVCMC, regulators, registries, VVBs, partners and investorsMarket position: proposals, frameworks and partnershipsWhat you bring12 or more years of experience, including 4 or more leading a business, practice or unit with P&L accountabilityDepth in carbon markets or climate advisory, with projects taken through to registration and issuanceA record of winning and delivering work with large corporates or government, ideally in Saudi Arabia or the GCCFluent English; professional Arabic strongly preferredDegree in engineering, science, economics or related; MBA preferredEssential expertiseVoluntary carbon market standards and how projects reach issuance (Verra VCS, Gold Standard, Puro.earth, CORSIA); the commercial side of credits, from offtake and pricing to revenue models; GHG accounting fundamentals; and the Saudi landscape, including RVCMC and NCEC.What we offerA leadership seat in a growing Saudi carbon project developerCompetitive base salary with a performance bonus tied to revenue, margin and issuance milestonesEquity participation for the right candidateMedical insurance for you and your dependants, annual flights and full Saudi labour law entitlementsHow to applyApply here with your CV and a brief summary of your most relevant achievements, or email careers@carbosol.sa with the subject line "General Manager".
