Company: Durham Geo Slope Indicator (DGSI)Reports to: Nova Metrix Division PresidentPosition SummaryDurham Geo Slope Indicator (DGSI), a Nova Ventures Group company, is seeking an experienced and results-driven General Manager to lead our business in Tucker, Georgia.This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on business leader to take full P&L responsibility for an established industrial instrumentation company serving customers worldwide.

The General Manager will oversee all aspects of the business, including sales, manufacturing, engineering, product development, marketing, finance, and customer service.The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial background, demonstrated success in sales forecasting and revenue growth, and experience leading businesses within instrumentation, sensor technology, data acquisition, or related technical manufacturing industries. We are looking for a collaborative, entrepreneurial leader who can drive operational excellence, develop high-performing teams, and deliver sustainable growth.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide full P&L leadership and accountability for revenue, profitability, EBITDA, and overall business performance.Develop and execute business strategies that drive profitable organic growth, market expansion, and operational excellence.Lead sales strategy, revenue forecasting, pipeline management, and commercial initiatives to achieve business objectives.Oversee manufacturing, engineering, product development, sales, marketing, finance, and customer service operations.Develop and manage annual operating plans, budgets, financial forecasts, and key performance indicators.Evaluate and improve business processes, management systems, and operational efficiencies across the organization.Drive new product introduction and oversee product development initiatives, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market opportunities.Work closely with engineering and commercial teams to strengthen the company's position in instrumentation, sensors, data acquisition, and monitoring technologies.Monitor inventory, gross margins, operating expenses, and financial performance to identify opportunities for improvement.Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing management team while fostering accountability and employee engagement.Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, employees, and senior leadership across Nova Ventures Group.Lead continuous improvement initiatives and establish effective daily management practices across business functions.Experience, Skills, and EducationMinimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in general management, commercial management, or executive business operations.Proven experience with full P&L ownership, financial planning, budgeting, and managing businesses with at least $15 million in annual revenue.Demonstrated success leading multisite operations, preferably with international business exposure.Strong commercial leadership experience, including sales forecasting, revenue growth, business development, and market expansion.Experience within industrial instrumentation, sensors, test and measurement, data acquisition systems, or related technical manufacturing industries.Familiarity with geotechnical instrumentation, data loggers, remote monitoring systems, or environmental monitoring technologies is highly desirable.Experience overseeing hardware, software, and mechanical product development, including new product introduction.Proven ability to improve operational performance, gross margins, EBITDA, and overall business profitability.Strong analytical and financial management capabilities, with the ability to leverage business systems, reporting tools, and KPIs to drive decisions.Demonstrated ability to recruit, mentor, and develop strong leadership teams.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of an organization.Hands-on, entrepreneurial leadership style with the flexibility to thrive in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Management, or a related discipline required.
