Global Head of AI Adoption, Training & Capability DevelopmentGlobal Role | 100% Remote from Spain📍 Location: Spain (candidates must be based in Spain)🏠 100% Remote🌍 Global scope across 50+ countries and 16 international entities✈️ International travel (up to 20%)🚀 Permanent contract with Matchtech | Long-term strategic programmeAbout the RoleWe are partnering with a leading international organisation operating across more than 50 countries to find a Global Head of AI Adoption, Training & Capability Development.This is a highly visible global leadership role focused on accelerating the adoption of Artificial Intelligence, Digital and Data capabilities across the organisation.You will be responsible for defining and executing the global strategy for AI capability development, driving organisation-wide AI adoption, building AI fluency at every level of the business, and promoting the responsible and ethical use of AI.This role goes far beyond delivering training. You will influence senior executives, country leaders and functional teams worldwide, helping the organisation maximise the value of AI while embedding sustainable change, governance and best practices.We are looking for someone who combines:✅ Strong practical experience with AI and Generative AI✅ Outstanding communication and executive-facing skills✅ Experience leading large-scale change and adoption programmes✅ The ability to translate AI opportunities into measurable business valueKey ResponsibilitiesAI Strategy, Adoption & Organisational Transformation (40%)Define and drive the global strategy for AI adoption and capability development.Act as a senior leader and trusted advisor on AI adoption across the organisation.Promote a culture of AI-enabled productivity, innovation and continuous learning.Drive engagement with executive leadership, country leadership teams and senior stakeholders.Lead global forums, steering committees and communities focused on AI adoption and capability building.Identify opportunities to maximise organisational value through AI, Digital and Data initiatives.AI Training, Learning & Capability Development (35%)Design and oversee a global AI learning strategy covering different levels of AI maturity.Develop and deliver AI and Generative AI training programmes for executives, managers, business users and technical teams.Create workshops, learning pathways, enablement programmes and practical AI sessions.Collaborate with Learning & Development teams to embed AI capability development into wider learning strategies.Coordinate external learning providers and specialist AI partners.Measure training effectiveness and continuously improve learning outcomes.Responsible AI, Governance & Ethics (15%)Promote the responsible, ethical and secure use of Artificial Intelligence across the organisation.Embed Responsible AI principles into training and adoption programmes.Support governance frameworks, policies and AI risk awareness initiatives.Drive awareness of AI limitations, risks and best practices among both technical and non-technical audiences.AI Innovation & Use Cases (10%)Support the identification and evaluation of AI use cases across different business functions.Help teams assess the potential value, feasibility and impact of AI initiatives.Act as a practical AI subject matter expert when reviewing opportunities and solutions.Share knowledge of emerging AI trends, technologies and best practices.What We're Looking ForEssential ExperienceProven experience leading AI Adoption, AI Enablement, AI Learning, AI Transformation or Digital Capability Development programmes.Hands-on experience using Generative AI solutions, including AI assistants, enterprise copilots and AI-driven productivity tools.Experience designing and delivering AI training programmes at enterprise scale.Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders including executives, directors and business leaders.Strong background in organisational change management and technology adoption.Excellent presentation, facilitation and communication skills.Ability to explain complex AI concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.Knowledge of Responsible AI, AI governance, ethics and AI-related risks.Strong understanding of how organisations can generate business value through AI.Experience working in global and multicultural environments.Nice to HaveExperience working across multiple countries and complex international organisations.Background in Data, Analytics, Digital Transformation or Technology Strategy.Exposure to enterprise AI governance frameworks and adoption programmes.Spanish, French or another European language.Language RequirementsNear-native or C2 English is essential.The role involves delivering executive presentations, leading workshops and engaging with stakeholders internationally on a daily basis.What We Offer🏠 100% remote working from Spain.
