Group Accounting Supervisor

We are looking for a Group Accounting Supervisor to join our office in Kolonaki. The role reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and works closely with the group’s external accountants, who handle payroll, submissions and statutory financial statements.Why this role is worth your time: you will report directly to the CFO, see the whole group rather than one company, and have real scope to organise the accounting function the way you think it should work. It suits someone who has already worked in an accounting department and wants the next step, with room to grow as the group expands into hospitality.Responsibilities Books and reconciliations

• Monitor the accurate and timely maintenance of the books across the group’s companies
• Reconcile bank, customer, supplier and intercompany accounts
• Monitor intercompany transactions and myDATA obligations
• Review the monthly trial balance for each companyProject accounting
• Track cost by project in Pylon
• Work in progress, contractor payment certificates, property handoversManagement reporting
• Contribute to the design and preparation of the reports requested by management (for example sources & uses, cash flow, cost analysis by project)
• Collect, process and check the underlying data
• Support loan drawdown requests and bank reviews with the relevant informationTax and statutory compliance
• Prepare the VAT, withholding tax, intra-community (VIES) and contract listing (συμφωνητικά) files for the external accountants
• Maintain the group’s submission calendar, send data on time, check it is complete and confirm the filings were made
• Update and correct the companies’ E9 property declarations; monitor ENFIA and other property taxes
• Obtain tax and social security clearance certificates, ENFIA certificates and other documents required for property transfers and financing
• Handle requests and correspondence with AADE and EFKA
• Support the annual financial statements and tax auditsTeam
• Guide and support the Accounting Assistant(s)What we are looking for
• Degree in Accounting, Economics or a related field
• 4+ years of experience in accounting
• Good knowledge of Greek Accounting Standards (Law 4308/2014) and Greek tax legislation
• Comfortable with an ERP — Pylon preferred — and a good level of Excel and AI platforms
• Familiarity with the AADE platforms (Taxisnet, myDATA) and with issuing certificates and clearances
• Reliability with deadlines and strong organisation: the role has a fixed monthly cycle of obligations with specific dates
• Good written and spoken EnglishNice to have
• Experience in a multi-company environment or an accounting firm
• Experience in construction or real estate development
• Accountant–Tax Advisor licence
• Experience guiding a colleague
