International Financial Controller | High-growth Global Technology Business | London remote/Hybrid£120,000-£150,000 + Bonus + BenefitsI'm currently partnering with a high-growth, VC-backed international technology business as they look to appoint an International Financial Controller to support the continued scaling of their global finance function.Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a highly visible leadership role with responsibility for financial control, statutory compliance, reporting, audit, tax, process improvement and finance transformation across multiple international entities.This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance leader looking to play a key role in building and modernising a global finance function within a fast-paced, international environment.Key responsibilities include:Owning the month-end, quarter-end and year-end close process across multiple international entitiesLeading group consolidations and ensuring timely, accurate financial reportingManaging statutory reporting, audits and tax compliance across multiple jurisdictionsOverseeing multi-currency accounting, intercompany reconciliations and transfer pricing arrangementsActing as the key point of contact for external auditors, tax advisors and regulatory bodiesDriving improvements to financial controls, governance and reporting processesLeading finance transformation initiatives, automation projects and systems improvementsImproving close processes, reporting timelines and overall finance function efficiencySupporting international expansion, including entity set-up, banking arrangements and local compliance requirementsManaging payroll oversight, accounts payable and broader international finance operationsPartnering closely with the CFO and wider leadership team to provide financial insight and support strategic decision-makingLeading, mentoring and developing an international finance teamCandidate ProfileACA, ACCA or equivalent professionally qualified accountantBig 4 trained highly desirableSignificant post-qualified experience within Financial Controller, Group Financial Controller, International Controller or similar rolesExperience operating within technology, software, SaaS or other high-growth international businessesStrong financial reporting, consolidation and statutory accounting experienceProven experience managing multi-entity, multi-currency international structuresExposure to US GAAP, IFRS and international reporting environments preferredTrack record of leading audits, compliance and regulatory reporting across multiple jurisdictionsExperience driving finance transformation, automation and process improvement initiativesStrong systems capability, ideally including NetSuite or similar ERP platformsPrevious leadership experience managing and developing international finance teamsCommercially minded with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced growth environmentInterested?This is a fantastic opportunity to join a scaling international technology business and play a key role in shaping the future of its global finance function.You'll gain exposure to international operations, finance transformation, senior stakeholder engagement and strategic projects, whilst working closely with an experienced leadership team during an exciting period of growth.If your background aligns with the above and you'd be interested in hearing more, please apply or get in touch for a confidential discussion.
