The ideal candidate takes pride in preparing guest rooms to a consistently high standard, recognising how small details contribute to a comfortable and welcoming stay. You work with care and efficiency, respect guest privacy and understand the importance of maintaining the condition and presentation of each room. With a reliable and collaborative approach, you contribute to a Housekeeping team committed to creating an exceptional environment for every guest. Key Responsibilities Clean, service and prepare guest rooms and suites in accordance with established housekeeping standards. Make beds, replace linens and replenish towels, amenities and guest supplies. Clean and sanitise bathrooms, bedrooms and other guest room areas. Ensure furniture, fixtures and room amenities are correctly arranged and presented. Carry out turndown service and respond to guest requests as assigned. Identify and report maintenance defects, damages and missing items promptly. Handle guest belongings with care and follow established lost and found procedures. Maintain housekeeping trolleys, cleaning equipment and supply areas in an organised condition. Follow approved cleaning methods, chemical handling procedures and safety requirements. Communicate room status updates and special requests accurately to Housekeeping Supervisors. Support colleagues in maintaining efficient room operations and service standards. Qualifications & Experience Minimum 1 year of housekeeping experience, preferably within a luxury hotel or resort. Knowledge of guest room cleaning procedures, equipment and cleaning products. Understanding of hygiene standards and safe chemical handling practices. Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain quality within assigned room schedules. Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team. Basic English communication skills to understand instructions and respond to guest requests. Professional conduct and respect for guest privacy and confidentiality. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
