Head of FM

MRG is working with a diversified UAE-based group to appoint a leader to manage and grow its Facilities Management business.The business currently provides Facilities Management services across an established internal portfolio of approximately 950 units, covering residential, commercial and education assets across Dubai and Sharjah.The next stage is growth.The incoming Head of FM will take full responsibility for the FM operation while developing the business into a credible external service provider. This will include P&L ownership, operational performance, business planning, client development, tendering, contract negotiation and mobilisation of new third-party contracts. Security Services will also sit within the remit.The role requires someone who combines strong operational FM experience with genuine commercial capability. We are particularly interested in candidates who have worked within established UAE FM service providers and can demonstrate direct involvement in winning, pricing and mobilising external contracts.Key responsibilities will include:Leading integrated hard and soft FM services across the existing portfolio.Full ownership of FM budgets, revenue, profitability and performance.Developing and executing a third-party FM growth strategy.Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across the UAE.Leading bids, tenders, pricing and commercial negotiations.Mobilising new contracts and ensuring strong operational delivery.Managing SLAs, KPIs, preventative maintenance and asset lifecycle planning.Leading FM and Security Services teams.Driving stronger systems, reporting, CAFM utilisation and operational controls.Maintaining full regulatory, QHSE and statutory compliance.We are looking for an experienced UAE FM leader with a strong track record across both operations and commercial growth.You will likely bring:12 to 15 years' Facilities Management experience.At least five years in a senior leadership position.Strong UAE or GCC market experience.Integrated hard and soft FM expertise.Full P&L and budget responsibility.Proven experience winning or supporting third-party FM contracts.Strong tendering, pricing and negotiation capability.Experience managing mixed-use, residential, commercial or institutional assets.Strong leadership and client relationship skills.This is an opportunity to take an established internal FM platform and build the next phase of the business around it.For a confidential discussion, please contact MRG.
