At APP Group, our innovation drives opportunity, making us your gateway to a career that champions inclusivity, growth and sustainable future.Why Join Us?Work with international teams and gain valuable experience in a diverse and dynamic global finance environment.Be part of a leading company in the paper production industry, known for its commitment to sustainability and innovation.Engage in complex financial analysis and reporting that supports strategic decision-making and drives business success.What You Will Experience:Lead research initiatives in soil management, forest and plantation nutrition, silviculture, and nursery nutrition.Develop site-specific nutrition strategies and forest management recommendations based on soil properties, research findings, and plantation requirements.Develop Site Management Units (SMUs) by integrating site characteristics, research data, and appropriate silvicultural practices.Design, lead, and evaluate field research and trials to improve plantation productivity and Mean Annual Increment (MAI).Translate scientific findings into practical recommendations for plantation operations and nurseries.Lead the R&D team, establish research priorities, and develop annual research strategies and programs.Develop technical standards, SOPs, and work instructions to support consistent implementation of research-based practices.Collaborate with plantation operations, cross-functional R&D teams, and external research institutions to drive continuous improvement.What is Required:PhD in Forestry, Soil Science, Silviculture, Plant Nutrition, Agronomy, or a related discipline, with 10+ years of relevant experience; candidates with a Master's degree and extensive relevant forestry experience are also encouraged to apply.Strong technical expertise in soil management, forest and plantation nutrition, silviculture, and field research.Proven ability to translate research findings into practical plantation-management solutions.Demonstrated leadership in managing research teams, projects, and stakeholder relationships.Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.International working experience.Published scientific research.Research or operational experience involving peat, Spodosol, and/or marine clay soils.Submit your application and start a better tomorrow, today.Our recruitment process is free of charge.Beware of recruitment scams claiming otherwise.
