Job Description

We are seeking an accomplished Head of Transmission Line to lead and oversee the Transmission Line business in Saudi Arabia for a leading international engineering and infrastructure organisation.This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced transmission professional with a strong background in High Voltage (HV) / Extra High Voltage (EHV) transmission line projects, particularly 380kV and above, and a proven track record of managing large-scale EPC operations across the Middle East.The successful candidate will take overall responsibility for business operations, project execution, commercial performance and strategic growth, ensuring the successful delivery of multiple transmission line projects across Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of HV/EHV transmission line projects, ensuring delivery within approved budgets, timelines, quality and HSE standards.
• Oversee engineering, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning activities.
• Take full responsibility for business P&L, budgeting, cash flow, profitability and cost optimisation.
• Lead and develop Cluster Project Managers, Project Managers and cross-functional teams.
• Manage senior client relationships, particularly with SEC and other key stakeholders.
• Oversee contract administration, commercial negotiations, claims and variation orders.
• Drive operational excellence, resource optimisation and sustainable business growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 20+ years of professional experience in power transmission and EPC project execution.
• Strong experience delivering 380kV and above Overhead Transmission Line projects.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Saudi Arabia.
• Extensive Middle East exposure, preferably within major utility infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience with full P&L ownership, commercial management and contract administration.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large project teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong stakeholder management and client relationship capabilities.
