Homeroom Teacher

Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and deliver engaging, student-centered lessons aligned with the school curriculum and learning objectives.Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment that supports students’ academic, social, and emotional development.Monitor, assess, and document students’ progress, providing constructive feedback and appropriate learning support.Develop and implement lesson plans and classroom activities that accommodate different learning styles and abilities.Maintain effective classroom management and promote positive student behavior.Communicate regularly with parents regarding students’ progress, achievements, and areas for improvement.Collaborate with colleagues, subject teachers, and school leadership to support student learning and school initiatives.Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student performance.Participate in staff meetings, professional development activities, and school events.Ensure student safety, well-being, and adherence to school policies and safeguarding procedures.Job RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject area.Previous experience as a Homeroom Teacher or classroom teacher, in an international school.Strong knowledge of curriculum planning, instructional strategies, and classroom management.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to differentiate instruction to meet students’ diverse learning needs.Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.Proficiency in English and effective written and verbal communication.Commitment to student-centered learning, continuous improvement, and professional development.Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, colleagues, and school leadership.
