HR Manager

Location: Kathmandu, Nepal (Frequent Plant Visits Outside the Valley)Job OverviewA reputed manufacturing company is seeking an experienced and proactive HR Manager to oversee internal HR operations, lead the HR team, and coordinate with different departments and plant management.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Nepalese labour laws, HR policies, employee relations, and manufacturing workforce management.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee overall HR operations, internal HR activities, and team management.Coordinate with department heads and plant management to ensure effective HR support across locations.Frequently visit manufacturing plants outside the Kathmandu Valley to monitor HR operations and address employee-related issues.Ensure compliance with Nepalese labour laws, company policies, SSF, and other statutory requirements.Manage recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, grievance handling, and disciplinary actions.Oversee attendance, leave management, payroll coordination, employee records, and HR documentation.Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and performance management systems.Support workforce planning, training, employee engagement, and organizational development.Prepare HR reports and provide regular updates to senior management.RequirementsEducation: Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of experience as an HR Manager in a reputed organization, preferably in the manufacturing industry.Strong knowledge of Nepalese labour laws, HR policies, statutory compliance, and employee relations.Proven ability to manage HR teams and coordinate with multiple departments.Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.Willingness to travel frequently to manufacturing plants outside the Kathmandu Valley.
