ID QC Engineer

As part of our continued focus on innovation and construction excellence, we are looking for an experienced ID QC Engineer to join our Azizi Pods factory team.We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to oversee the quality of interior finishes, materials, joinery and installations in prefabricated bathroom pods, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, design specifications and quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.Key responsibilitiesInspect incoming interior design materials, including laminates, tiles, sanitary fittings, joinery and accessories, to ensure compliance with approved specifications.Conduct in-process quality inspections throughout pod manufacturing and assembly.Ensure interior components, including walls, ceilings, flooring, cabinetry, furniture and fixtures, meet approved design and quality standards.Verify alignment, dimensions, finishing quality, installation accuracy and material integrity against approved ID drawings.Coordinate with Design, Production and Procurement teams to resolve interior-related quality issues.Prepare and maintain inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs) and quality documentation.Support root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.Identify opportunities to reduce rework and improve finishing quality.Participate in mock-up inspections, quality audits and client inspections.Ensure compliance with relevant safety, environmental and material quality standards.Here's what you'll needBachelor's degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Industrial Design, Engineering or a related discipline.Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Control within fit-out, prefabrication, modular construction or furniture manufacturing.Experience inspecting interior finishes, joinery, materials and installation works.Strong knowledge of interior design materials, finishing standards and workmanship requirements.Ability to read and interpret interior design, architectural and engineering drawings.Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD or similar tools is an advantage.Strong attention to detail, communication and problem-solving skills.
