Infectious Disease Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Infectious Disease Specialist to join our leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The ideal candidate will specialize in diagnosing, treating, and preventing infectious diseases, providing expert care for patients with complex infections and supporting effective infection prevention practices.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and manage bacterial, viral, fungal, and parasitic infectionsEvaluate and treat complex infections, including sepsis, tuberculosis, and multidrug-resistant infectionsDevelop individualized treatment plans and optimize antimicrobial therapyInterpret microbiology reports, cultures, and other relevant diagnostic investigationsSupport infection prevention and control initiatives within the healthcare facilityAdvise clinical teams on antimicrobial stewardship and appropriate antibiotic useCollaborate with microbiologists, intensivists, and other specialists in managing complex casesMonitor treatment outcomes and provide follow-up care for patients with infectious diseasesMaintain accurate medical records and follow established clinical protocolsRequirementsQualifications & RequirementsMBBS or equivalent medical degreeMD/DNB in General Medicine or an equivalent qualification, with DM/DNB or equivalent specialization in Infectious DiseasesMinimum 3 years of post-specialization experience preferredExperience in managing complex infections and antimicrobial therapyStrong clinical judgment, analytical, and communication skillsBenefitsPrivate Health InsuranceTraining & DevelopmentPerformance Bonus
