You will be responsible for preparing detailed construction and shop drawings for specialist spa and wellness facilities, including saunas, steam rooms, hammams, thermal suites, vitality pools, and bespoke treatment areas. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to iconic luxury hospitality and wellness developments while working alongside a team of industry specialists.About Your TeamYou will work closely with the Technical Team, Design, Engineering, and Project Delivery teams to develop detailed drawings and technical solutions for specialist wellness installations. Your role will involve coordinating with architectural, structural, interior design, and MEP disciplines to ensure accurate and buildable project documentation.Your RoleAs a MEP Draughtsman (Spa & Wellness), your responsibilities will include:Preparing detailed shop drawings, plans, sections, elevations, and technical details for Spa & Wellness facilitiesDeveloping wall, floor, ceiling, bench, and specialist thermal cabin construction details based on approved designsCoordinating drawings with architectural, structural, interior design, and MEP layoutsPreparing and coordinating SPA-related MEP shop drawings where requiredIncorporating equipment requirements, insulation, waterproofing, drainage, ventilation, and specialist construction details into drawingsSupporting the technical team with detailed design development and construction coordinationIdentifying drawing discrepancies and highlighting technical issues for resolutionRevising drawings based on consultant comments, technical instructions, and site requirementsMaintaining drawing registers, revision logs, and technical documentationSupporting site teams with drawing clarifications and technical coordination during executionWhat We're Looking ForExperience:5+ years of experience in drafting within Fitout, Construction, MEP, or specialist Spa & Wellness projectsProven experience preparing detailed shop drawings and coordinated construction documentationExperience working on luxury hospitality, hotel, resort, wellness, or high-end Fitout projectsExperience coordinating architectural, structural, and MEP disciplinesPrevious involvement in Spa & Wellness facilities, including saunas, steam rooms, hammams, thermal suites, vitality pools, and treatment areas is highly preferredExperience supporting site execution teams and responding to technical design queriesKnowledge & Skills:Advanced proficiency in AutoCADStrong understanding of shop drawings, construction details, as-built drawings, and technical documentationAbility to read and interpret architectural, interior design, structural, and MEP drawingsStrong knowledge of construction materials, installation methods, waterproofing systems, insulation requirements, and specialist wellness construction detailsFamiliarity with sauna, steam room, hammam, thermal suite, and wellness construction principlesUnderstanding of HVAC, drainage, plumbing, electrical, and MEP coordination requirements within spa facilitiesExcellent attention to detail and drawing accuracyStrong communication and coordination skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and drawing packages simultaneouslyKnowledge of BIM/Revit will be considered an advantageWhat We OfferThe opportunity to work on iconic luxury hospitality and wellness projects across the UAEA collaborative environment with specialist Spa & Wellness professionalsExposure to world-class resorts, hotels, and premium wellness developmentsThe chance to contribute to innovative and technically challenging projectsReady to elevate your career?Join ALEC and help deliver some of the region's most prestigious Spa & Wellness projects through technical excellence and innovation.If you're inspired by what you've read and believe you're the right fit, we'd love to hear from you.Join ALEC Fitout and be part of a team shaping exceptional wellness environments across the region.Apply today and be part of something exceptional!
