Investment Banking Analyst

We are recruiting an Analyst on behalf of our client in Amsterdam. This is an opportunity for an early-career professional to develop their financial analysis, modelling and transaction execution skills within a specialist corporate finance advisory boutique.Our client advises entrepreneurs, investors and corporates on M&A and growth financing across the Technology & Infrastructure sectors. The role offers exposure to international transactions and the opportunity to work closely with experienced dealmakers and industry experts.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain financial models to support valuation and transaction analysis.Analyse financial statements and assess company performance.Conduct market, industry and company research.Prepare pitch presentations, investment memoranda and other transaction materials.Support due diligence and transaction execution, working closely with senior team members.RequirementsDegree in finance, economics, business administration or a related field.1–3 years of relevant experience in M&A, corporate finance, investment banking or a related area.Strong analytical skills and a solid foundation in financial modelling and valuation.Good understanding of accounting and financial statements.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.Strong written and verbal communication skills in Dutch.An interest in Technology & Infrastructure and the businesses shaping these sectors.Strong attention to detail, initiative and a collaborative approach.If you are interested, or know someone in your network who could be a good fit, please reach out directly to Reinis Nelke at reinis.nelke@ascendumrec.com.#Hiring #MergersAndAcquisitions #CorporateFinance #Analyst #Amsterdam
