Junior Accountant( Immediate Joiner) - Trading/Logistics

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our client team in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in accounting principles, good analytical skills, and the ability to support day-to-day accounting and financial operations. The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Manager to ensure accurate financial records and timely completion of accounting tasks.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with daily accounting operations, including recording financial transactions and maintaining accurate accounting records.Prepare and maintain general ledger entries, journal entries, and supporting documentation.Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.Perform bank and account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.Support the preparation of financial statements, reports, and management accounts.Assist with VAT calculations, tax documentation, and other tax-related activities.Maintain proper filing and organization of invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.Ensure accounting records are accurate and maintained in accordance with company policies and applicable UAE regulations.Coordinate with internal departments and assist the Account and Tax Senior Manager with additional accounting tasks as required.RequirementsBachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.1–3 years of relevant accounting experience.Good understanding of basic accounting principles and financial procedures.Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.Basic knowledge of UAE VAT and tax regulations is an advantage.Good written and spoken English communication skills.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and numerical accuracy.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Willingness to learn and develop professionally in accounting and taxation.
