Junior Auditor / Audit Associate | Abu DhabiWe are looking for a motivated Junior Auditor / Audit Associate to join our external audit team at Samer Hamadeh Auditors and Accountants L.L.C.The role provides practical exposure to external audit engagements, financial statements, IFRS, ISA, client fieldwork and professional audit documentation.You will be involved in:External audit fieldwork and substantive testingPreparing audit working papers and documenting audit evidenceReviewing trial balances, general ledgers and supporting documentsBank, receivable and payable confirmationsInventory counts and other verification proceduresFinancial statement preparation and reviewClient communication and follow-upMaintaining audit documentation using Microsoft 365 and SharePointWork Location & TravelThis is primarily a client-site based role. Audit assignments are mainly located in:Abu DhabiICADAl AinOccasional assignments may also require travel to Dubai and Sharjah.Candidates must therefore be comfortable working at different client locations as required by audit assignments.We are looking for:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related fieldGood knowledge of accounting principlesGood written and spoken EnglishArabic-speaking ability would be appreciatedGood Microsoft Excel skillsStrong attention to detail and willingness to learnAbility to work professionally at client locationsWillingness to travel within the UAE as required by assignmentsA valid UAE driving licence and own car would be an advantageKnowledge of IFRS and ISA is an advantageFresh graduates and candidates with junior-level audit experience are welcome to apply.
