Junior DevOps Engineer

Experience level: Entry-level or early-career engineer with a degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.Cloud fundamentals: Basic understanding of cloud computing, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).Linux: Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems and command-line tools.Scripting: Basic scripting skills in Bash, Python, or PowerShell.Version control: Familiarity with Git and version control practices.CI/CD: Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.Infrastructure as Code: Basic knowledge of Terraform or similar tools.Containers: Basic understanding of Docker and Kubernetes (GKE).Networking: Knowledge of DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, and TCP/IP fundamentals.Monitoring & Security: Basic awareness of monitoring, logging, cloud security, and IAM.API knowledge: Familiarity with REST APIs and Apigee is a plus.Soft skills: Strong problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and willingness to learn.
