Junior System Administrator

We are looking for a Junior IT Infrastructure Support Engineer to join a project focused on infrastructure and virtualisation migrations. This is a great opportunity for a junior professional looking to develop technical skills in Linux, Windows Server, virtualisation, and infrastructure support, working alongside experienced engineers.What you would do:Support infrastructure and virtualisation migration projects.Assist with VMware and KVM environments.Perform basic troubleshooting in Linux and Windows Server environments.Assist with basic networking and storage tasks.Support automation and repetitive tasks using scripting tools.Follow technical procedures and maintain accurate documentation.Work closely with senior engineers and technical teams to develop technical knowledge.Participate in rotating shifts, including occasional evenings, nights, and weekends.What you need to bring:A degree, technical training, or initial experience in IT Infrastructure, Systems Administration, Virtualisation, or a related field.Basic knowledge of Linux and/or Windows Server.Basic understanding of VMware, KVM, networking, and storage.Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and develop in a technical migration environment.Good communication and teamwork skills.Knowledge of Portuguese and English.Immediate availability.Availability to work in rotating shifts, including occasional evenings, nights, and weekends.By applying, you accept our GDPR policies.
