You will lead planning and engineering for a major international airport, from master plan and capacity studies to airfield design, review and phasing on a live operational environment. You will work closely with the airport operator, GACA, consultants, and contractors.ResponsibilitiesLead preparation and updates of the Airport Master Plan and Airport Layout Plan (ALP)Lead capacity studies for runways, taxiways, aprons, terminals and landsideLead planning, coordination and review of airfield designs: geometry, pavements, drainage, AGL and NAVAIDReview consultant and contractor submissions against ICAO and GACARPlan works phasing and safety on an operating airfieldCoordinate with GACA, government agencies, consultants and contractorsLead multidisciplinary teams and present recommendations to senior managementEvaluate alternatives and lead value engineeringQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Civil, Airport Engineering, Aviation Planning or related fieldEligible for Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) registrationFluent EnglishBased in or willing to relocate to RiyadhRequired SkillsAviPLAN, CAST, AirTop, REDIM, FAArfield, PCR/ACRAirfield geometry design (runways, taxiways, aprons)Airfield pavements, grading and drainageAGL and NAVAID systemsICAO Annex 14 and aerodrome standardsGACAR 139, ICAO Doc 9157, FAA planning guidanceAutoCAD / Civil 3DLeadership of multidisciplinary teamsPreferred SkillsFAA AC 150 seriesSaudi/GCC airport experience and GACA approvalsProjects on operating, multi-terminal airports (phasing under operations)Client-side design review or technical advisoryArabicYears of Experience15+ years, with substantial airfield engineering experience
