System Engineer / Technical Lead – Infotainment & Connectivity

Location: MRV, ChennaiKey ResponsibilitiesOwn end-to-end system delivery for HPC (High Performance Computing) platforms, including Infotainment, Connectivity, System Integration, Hardware, and Software.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (CFTs) and suppliers to ensure timely completion of TSO activities and adherence to project timelines.Prepare and manage System Requirement Documents (SRDs) and Statements of Requirements (SORs), including supplier sign-off.Define and maintain Hardware and Software Interface Specifications.Participate in vehicle-level testing, bench testing, and system validation activities.Analyze reported issues, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and drive resolution.Track, manage, and close defects raised during development and validation phases.Coordinate software releases and ensure successful integration into vehicle programs.Required Experience & Skillsexperience in the automotive industry, specifically in:InfotainmentConnectivityCluster SystemsVehicle IntegrationSystem EngineeringStrong understanding of Infotainment hardware and peripheral interfaces such as:DisplaysUSBAudio SystemsGood working knowledge of:CAN ProtocolDiagnosticsSystem IntegrationExperience in Android Auto (AA) and Apple CarPlay (CP) certification and interoperability testing.Awareness of Functional Safety (ISO 26262) and Automotive Cybersecurity concepts.Experience in software delivery management and supplier coordination.Exposure to software development lifecycle and embedded automotive systems.EducationBachelor's or Master's Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or a related field.Preferred KeywordsSystem Engineering | Vehicle Integration | Infotainment | Connectivity | Cluster | HPC | Software Delivery | Project Management | CAN | Diagnostics | Android Auto | Apple CarPlay | Functional Safety | Cybersecurity | Supplier Management | Embedded Systems | RCA | Validation & TestingThis refined version can be directly shared with consultants, sourcing teams, or hiring managers.
