Tech Lead – Kotlin | Financial Services | Long-Term Contract - Remote I’m currently looking for an experienced Tech Lead to join a long-term contract with a client operating in the financial services / digital banking space.This is a hands-on technical leadership role, combining architecture, software development, technical decision-making and team leadership.Key requirementsProven experience as a Tech Lead or Senior/Lead Software Engineer.Strong commercial experience with Kotlin is required.Previous experience in financial services, banking, fintech or payments is required.Strong knowledge of Java / Kotlin and Spring Boot.Experience with microservices and distributed systems.Strong understanding of software architecture and system design.Experience with cloud technologies and modern CI/CD practices.Experience leading and mentoring engineering teams.Comfortable working in regulated environments and dealing with non-functional requirements such as scalability, security, availability and performance.Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.ContractLong-term contractRemote-firstSome travel may be requiredHands-on technical leadership roleOpportunity to work on large-scale digital banking / financial services solutionsIf you have strong Kotlin + Financial Services experience and are interested in a long-term Tech Lead opportunity, feel free to get in touch.
