The name ‘Curium’ honors the legacy of pioneering radioactive researchers Marie and Pierre Curie, after whom the radioactive element curium was named and emphasizes our focus on nuclear medicine.Role PurposeWe are looking for a team member who is proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining the reliability, safety, and efficiency of our facility infrastructure.Contract type: Permanent ContractKey ResponbilitiesEnsure a reliable and consistent energy supply to the entire facility and production areas, and ensure that all infrastructure systems operate in accordance with applicable quality requirements and standards. Perform or coordinate preventive maintenance activities and ensure that all activities are properly documented.Plan, perform, and report validations and calibrations of HVAC, gas, and automation systems.Ensure that work orders received from internal customers are completed to the required quality standards and closed on time.Plan and implement improvement projects for all infrastructure systems serving the facility and production areas.Ensure that physical security systems throughout the facility remain fully operational and perform or coordinate periodic maintenance activities.Regularly monitor the facility’s building and architectural infrastructure and perform or coordinate necessary maintenance and renovation works to maintain its condition and appearance.Perform or coordinate maintenance and repair of furniture and related equipment used in production areas and common facilities.Ensure that all infrastructure systems undergo the inspections required by applicable legislation and report the results to relevant authorities when requested.Provide technical support to the relevant department on radiation protection and occupational safety matters, contribute to improvement projects in these areas, and comply with all applicable Radiation Protection and Occupational Safety rules and procedures.Ensure that waste generated at the facility is disposed of in accordance with the Environmental Management System.Manage and maintain inventory of spare parts and consumables required for facility infrastructure systems.Perform or coordinate regular pest control activities at the facility and ensure that the results are documented and reported.Qualifications & RequirementsAssociate degree in Mechanical Technology, Electrical Technology, Electronics, or a related field.At least 2 years of experience in the maintenance of facility infrastructure systems.Knowledge of heating, cooling and ventilation systems (HVAC), purified water systems, building automation, compressed air systems, clean and wastewater plumbing, steel structures, medical gas lines, and electrical systems is an advantage.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.Driving licence and ability to drive actively.Knowledge of English proficiency.Valid work and residence permits for United Arab Emirates.Ability to commute to the Sharjah area.Must be willing to work on-site and adapt to alternate working hours.Equal Opportunity EmployerCurium is an equal opportunity employer and believes everyone deserves respect, dignity and equality.
