Material Receiving Inspector – Mechanical & Piping / ElectricalWe are seeking qualified Material Receiving Inspectors for separate positions in Mechanical & Piping and Electrical disciplines to support our infrastructure project in Jeddah.Successful candidates will ensure that materials delivered to the site comply with approved technical submittals, project specifications, and quality requirements before release for installation.Key ResponsibilitiesInspect incoming materials against approved submittals, purchase orders, delivery documents, and technical specifications.Perform visual and dimensional inspections to identify damage, defects, corrosion, and discrepancies.Verify material grades, dimensions, ratings, identification markings, and traceability within the respective discipline.Review material certificates, compliance documents, and applicable factory acceptance and third-party inspection reports.Prepare and submit Material Inspection Requests (MIRs) and coordinate inspections with consultants and client representatives.Ensure proper unloading, handling, storage, segregation, and preservation of materials.Identify nonconforming materials, initiate relevant reports, and follow up on corrective actions.Maintain accurate inspection records and coordinate with procurement, warehouse, construction, and QA/QC teams to support timely material approvals.Qualifications & ExperienceDiploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.5–7 years of relevant experience in material receiving inspection within the respective discipline.Approval from Saudi Aramco, NEOM, or Red Sea projects is required.Strong knowledge of applicable material specifications, inspection procedures, certification, and traceability requirements.Experience preparing MIRs and coordinating consultant inspections.Proficiency in inspection documentation and document management systems; familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) is preferred.Good command of English and strong communication and coordination skills
